I graduated in 1998 from the Animal Sciences Technician program at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College, now known as the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus. I also successfully graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program at the Maritime Business College in 1999.
After spending time working on a farrow to finish swine operation, I felt the natural transition to join the companion animal healthcare. I joined the practice as a student in 1998. What I love most about my job is the professionalism, high standards of care and pet advocacy that are offered to our clients and their pets.
My favourite thing about the clinic is the diversity of our colleagues and clients. This is definitely not your typical workplace. My first pet was Honey, a hamster. She even travelled to college with me!
